Job Description

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee and manage the entire supply chain process from procurement of raw materials to final product delivery. This role involves optimizing operations to ensure efficiency, reducing costs, and improving customer satisfaction by ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products. You will collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless supply chain processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Oversee the procurement process, ensuring timely acquisition of materials
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the best terms for the organization
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and sales teams to avoid shortages or overstock situations
  • Analyze data to forecast future supply chain needs and trends
  • Manage logistics operations, including warehousing, distribution, and transportation of products
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment of supply chain processes
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to optimize operations
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain efficiency and make data-driven decisions
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the supply chain team to achieve operational excellence

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in supply chain management software and tools
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and procurement

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with occasional visits to suppliers, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities
  • Collaborative work with multiple departments and external partners
  • May require occasional travel for supplier visits or industry events
