The Catering Manager will oversee all aspects of our catering operations, ensuring exceptional service and high-quality food for events and functions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills, a knack for organization, and a passion for delivering unforgettable dining experiences. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing catering services while managing a dedicated team of catering staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute catering events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties, from start to finish
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and dietary needs, providing personalized recommendations and menus
  • Develop and maintain catering menus, ensuring variety, quality, and presentation that align with the brand’s standards
  • Manage catering staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to ensure a motivated and efficient team
  • Coordinate logistics for catering events, including setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly
  • Monitor food safety and sanitation practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and company policies
  • Prepare and manage budgets for catering events, tracking costs, and ensuring profitability while maintaining high-quality service
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery
  • Evaluate the success of catering events through client feedback and team debriefs, making improvements for future events

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in catering management or a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, catering trends, and event planning
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members
  • Proficient in budgeting and financial management related to catering operations
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for events
