Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for helping prospective tenants find their ideal rental property, conducting property tours, and assisting with the leasing process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong understanding of the rental market. Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist prospective tenants, answering questions about properties, availability, lease terms, and community features.
  • Conduct property tours and showcase units to highlight their benefits and amenities.
  • Process rental applications, including conducting background checks, verifying income, and following up on references.
  • Prepare and execute lease agreements, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Maintain knowledge of the local rental market, property availability, and pricing to provide accurate information to potential tenants.
  • Follow up with prospective tenants and maintain a database of leads to maximize occupancy rates.
  • Work closely with the property management team to coordinate move-ins, lease renewals, and other leasing activities.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, including creating online listings, social media posts, and coordinating open houses.
  • Ensure properties are clean and presentable for showings, conducting walk-throughs and coordinating with maintenance as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow up effectively.
  • Knowledge of property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) is preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for property visits.
