We are looking for a reliable and energetic Shift Manager to oversee daily operations during assigned shifts. The Shift Manager will manage a team, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain high levels of productivity and service quality. You will be responsible for making decisions to solve immediate problems and improve operational flow during your shift. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a focus on delivering top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate staff members during assigned shifts to maintain a high standard of performance
  • Ensure that employees are following company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Monitor customer service levels and address any issues or complaints to ensure a positive experience
  • Delegate tasks to team members and ensure they are completed efficiently
  • Oversee inventory and stock management, ensuring that products and supplies are well-maintained during your shift
  • Conduct quality checks on products or services to ensure they meet company standards
  • Handle cash transactions, balancing tills, and ensuring accurate cash management during your shift
  • Assist in training new staff and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team performance
  • Keep detailed records of daily operations, including sales, customer feedback, and any incidents
  • Support management in achieving operational goals and meeting targets
  • Address any emergency situations or operational challenges, ensuring quick resolution and minimal disruption

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a retail, hospitality, or service environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork
  • Problem-solving abilities and the confidence to make decisions quickly
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle high-stress situations
  • Basic math skills and experience handling cash and payments
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
