As a Sommelier, you will be the key ambassador for our wine program, responsible for curating an exceptional wine selection that enhances the dining experience. Your expertise in wines and beverages will guide our guests in making informed choices, while your passion for oenology will contribute to the overall success of our establishment. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who can elevate our guests’ dining experience through personalized wine pairings and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an extensive wine list that reflects our culinary offerings and guest preferences
• Conduct regular tastings and training sessions for the service staff to enhance their knowledge of wine and beverage pairings
• Provide personalized wine recommendations to guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to create unique pairings for special events and seasonal menus
• Monitor wine inventory and manage orders to ensure the wine cellar is well-stocked and organized
• Stay updated on wine trends, new releases, and regions to enhance the wine program continually
• Lead wine-related events, tastings, and educational sessions for both guests and staff
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations regarding the handling and storage of alcoholic beverages

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Sommelier or in a wine-related role is required
• Strong knowledge of wines, regions, varietals, and wine production processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for educating others about wine
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with grace
• Certification from a recognized wine education program (e.g., WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers) is preferred
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
