We are hiring a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications. You will work directly with customers, manage prescriptions, and ensure accuracy in medication orders and inventories.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications for patients by measuring and labeling prescriptions
• Verify prescription information and ensure medication accuracy
• Assist customers with questions regarding prescriptions and over-the-counter products
• Maintain records of prescriptions and patient information in pharmacy software
• Organize inventory and ensure proper storage of medications
• Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify prescription orders
• Assist with billing and insurance claims as needed

Requirements:

• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician or relevant training
• Knowledge of pharmacy regulations, medications, and dosages
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing medications
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Experience using pharmacy software

Work Environment:

• Work in a retail pharmacy or hospital pharmacy
• Physically moderate tasks involving standing for long periods and stocking inventory
• Regular interaction with customers, pharmacists, and healthcare providers
