Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and develop new business by reaching out to potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Assess clients’ insurance needs and provide tailored insurance solutions, including life, health, auto, and property insurance.
  • Educate clients about different insurance products, coverage options, and policy terms.
  • Prepare and present insurance quotes and proposals to clients, highlighting key benefits and features.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any questions or concerns throughout the policy lifecycle.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, changes in regulations, and new insurance products to provide clients with accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and policy information in CRM software.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Insurance Sales Representative, Sales Agent, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products and sales techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and understand their insurance needs.
  • Valid insurance license as required by state regulations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
