We are seeking a passionate and visionary Non-Profit Executive Director to lead our organization and drive its mission forward. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization’s operations, including strategic planning, fundraising, program development, and stakeholder engagement. This role requires a strong leader with experience in non-profit management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire staff, volunteers, and donors.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the organization in achieving its mission and vision through strategic planning and effective execution of programs
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the organization runs efficiently and meets its goals
- Manage and inspire a team of staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and mission-driven culture
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure grants, donations, and other revenue sources to sustain and grow the organization
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, community partners, and government agencies
- Represent the organization publicly, advocating for its mission and raising awareness of its programs and impact
- Work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure strong governance, financial oversight, and alignment with the organization’s long-term goals
- Develop and manage the organization’s budget, ensuring financial stability and accountability
- Oversee program development and implementation, ensuring they align with the organization’s mission and address community needs
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining transparency and ethical standards in all activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management, Business, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 5+ years of leadership experience in the non-profit sector, including experience in fundraising and program management
- Proven track record of securing funding through grants, donations, and partnerships
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to represent the organization to stakeholders and the public
- Financial acumen, with experience in budget management and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of non-profit governance and regulatory requirements
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and assess organizational performance
- Passion for the organization’s mission and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community
- Experience working with a Board of Directors is a plus
