We are looking for a proactive and experienced Lead Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, leading a team of analysts in gathering requirements, analyzing systems, and implementing effective business solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of business systems analysts, providing guidance and support in their professional development and project execution
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand business needs and translate them into clear and actionable requirements
- Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend effective solutions that enhance operational efficiency
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct assessments, and validate proposed solutions
- Oversee the design, testing, and implementation of new systems and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Monitor project progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns proactively
- Conduct data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and identify trends that drive business strategies
- Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices in business systems analysis and management
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis, with a focus on leading teams and managing projects
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, such as BPMN, UML, and Agile/Scrum frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex systems and data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) and techniques to manage timelines and deliverables
- Knowledge of database management and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
