Job Summary

The Account Officer will be responsible for processing transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the accounting team in various administrative tasks. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain client accounts, including processing transactions, payments, and account updates.
- Conduct account reconciliations and ensure accurate record-keeping of financial data.
- Review account statements, invoices, and other financial documents to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Assist clients with account-related inquiries, providing information and resolving issues as needed.
- Monitor account activity and prepare regular reports on account status, balances, and transactions.
- Work closely with the accounting and finance teams to support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Identify potential risks or discrepancies in accounts and recommend solutions to improve account management.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and industry best practices.
- Assist with audits and other financial reviews as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Officer, Accountant, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
