Job Description

The Festival Box Office Staff handles ticket sales and distribution, customer inquiries, and general front-line customer service at the festival. This role is essential for ensuring guests have a seamless experience when entering the event.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell tickets and process payments (cash, card, or online).
  • Distribute pre-purchased tickets or wristbands.
  • Assist with customer service inquiries regarding festival schedules, events, and ticketing policies.
  • Handle issues with ticketing, such as lost or invalid tickets.
  • Keep accurate records of transactions and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts.
  • Ensure smooth entry for festival-goers by managing queues and providing instructions.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to handle high-stress situations.
  • Experience in retail, ticketing, or event management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and long shifts.
