Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Recruitment Assistant to support our talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate will assist in sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for potential candidates, helping ensure a seamless hiring process. This role is perfect for someone with strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping companies grow through talent acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with sourcing potential candidates through job boards, social media platforms, and internal databases
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the qualifications for specific roles
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and hiring managers to ensure timely communication
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and status in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Draft and post job advertisements on job boards and other platforms to attract qualified candidates
  • Assist with conducting initial phone screenings to evaluate candidates’ qualifications and cultural fit
  • Handle correspondence with applicants, providing timely responses to inquiries and follow-ups
  • Support recruitment events, such as job fairs or open houses, including planning, coordination, and follow-up
  • Assist in preparing offer letters and other documentation required for the hiring process
  • Provide administrative support to the recruitment team, including managing calendars, organizing files, and preparing reports on hiring metrics

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred)
  • Previous administrative experience in an HR or recruitment setting is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and team members
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
