The HRIS Administrator plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to support the organization’s HR functions. This position involves maintaining HRIS data integrity, generating reports, and providing user support for HRIS-related inquiries. The HRIS Administrator collaborates with HR teams to ensure the system meets organizational needs and enhances operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for all employee records and HR functions
- Collaborate with HR and IT teams to configure and customize the HRIS to align with organizational processes and requirements
- Generate and analyze reports on HR metrics, including turnover rates, employee demographics, and other key performance indicators
- Provide user support for HRIS-related inquiries and assist employees with system navigation and functionality
- Train HR staff and end-users on the use of the HRIS and ensure compliance with system protocols
- Assist in the implementation of new HRIS modules and enhancements, including system upgrades and new features
- Conduct regular audits of HRIS data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and organizational policies regarding employee data management
- Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot technical issues and enhance system performance
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to HRIS management and data analytics
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as an HRIS Administrator or in a similar HR role
- Strong knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and data management principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools for data analysis and visualization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with HR teams and end-users
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with project management and implementation of HRIS enhancements is a plus
