Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective completion of all maintenance tasks
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment performance and longevity
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility and equipment to identify areas that require repair or maintenance
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary tools and materials are readily available
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, conducting safety training for team members as needed
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact
- Collaborate with other departments to support their maintenance needs and ensure a smooth operation
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment maintenance logs
- Assist in budget preparation for maintenance operations and monitor expenditures to adhere to budgetary constraints
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in facilities management or a related field is a plus
- Proven experience in maintenance supervision or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Work Environment:
- This role involves working primarily indoors in a facility setting, with occasional outdoor work required
