The Makeup Artist will be responsible for applying makeup to clients for various occasions, including events, photo shoots, television, and film productions. Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their makeup preferences and desired looks for various occasions.
• Apply makeup to enhance clients’ features, ensuring high-quality and professional results.
• Stay up to date with current makeup trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with the best options.
• Maintain a clean and organized makeup station, ensuring all tools and products meet hygiene standards.
• Assist in preparing clients for photo shoots, runway shows, film productions, and special events.
• Collaborate with photographers, directors, and other team members to achieve the desired visual aesthetic.
• Create and execute makeup looks based on creative direction, themes, and concepts.
• Provide skincare and makeup tips to clients for maintaining their looks and enhancing their natural beauty.
• Keep detailed records of products used for clients and manage inventory of makeup supplies.

Requirements

• Certification from a recognized makeup artistry school or relevant training.
• Proven experience as a Makeup Artist in fashion, beauty, film, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of makeup techniques, color theory, and product application.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a creative approach to makeup artistry.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work and makeup artistry skills is highly desirable.
