We are in search of a talented and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our analytics team. This role involves leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and improve business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization, along with the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems
• Analyze large and diverse datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends that inform strategic decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key metrics and develop data-driven solutions to enhance business performance
• Design and create visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
• Conduct experiments and A/B testing to evaluate the impact of changes to products or services
• Stay current with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and analytics tools and techniques
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
• Document data science processes, methodologies, and results to ensure knowledge sharing and reproducibility
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data availability and quality for analysis
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, articulating complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with a strong portfolio of projects and results
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
• Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib) to communicate insights effectively
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data warehousing concepts is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable business insights
