We are looking for a skilled Senior IT Administrator to join our team and ensure the efficient operation of our IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our IT systems, networks, and security protocols. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT administration, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services, to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and improve user satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess IT needs, design solutions, and deploy new technologies
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and security
• Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to utilize IT resources effectively
• Manage IT projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic planning and decision-making
• Mentor junior IT staff and support their professional development through training and guidance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT administration or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and server management (e.g., Windows Server, Linux)
• Proficiency in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization solutions (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical issues
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are advantageous
