We are seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to install, repair, and maintain medical equipment in healthcare facilities. You will ensure that all equipment operates safely and efficiently to support patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Install, calibrate, and repair a variety of medical equipment, including monitors, ventilators, and diagnostic machines
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on medical devices
• Troubleshoot issues and repair or replace malfunctioning parts
• Ensure that all medical equipment complies with safety and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each piece of equipment
• Provide training to healthcare staff on proper equipment use and troubleshooting
• Respond to emergency repair calls in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Certification as a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) is preferred
• Strong understanding of medical devices and their operation
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards
• Ability to work in healthcare environments and around sensitive equipment
• Strong communication skills for interacting with healthcare professionals

Work Environment:

• Work in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities
• Physically demanding tasks, including moving and lifting medical equipment
• Exposure to medical settings and collaboration with healthcare staff
