We are hiring a Security Systems Technician to install, maintain, and repair security systems, including alarm systems, cameras, and access control systems. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure security systems, including alarms, surveillance cameras, and access control systems
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections of security systems
- Diagnose and repair issues with security equipment and systems
- Ensure compliance with local security regulations and industry standards
- Provide training to clients on how to use their security systems
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot security system failures
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of security systems and surveillance technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems
- Experience with tools and equipment used in security system installations
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
- Relevant certifications in security systems installation are preferred
Work Environment:
- Work in both residential and commercial settings, with outdoor and indoor tasks
- Physically demanding, including working at heights and lifting heavy equipment
- Regular interaction with clients and security teams
