We are hiring a Medical Assistant to support doctors and nurses by performing administrative and clinical tasks. You will assist with patient care, manage medical records, and help ensure the smooth operation of the healthcare facility.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for medical exams by taking vital signs and recording medical history
- Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
- Administer injections or medications as directed by a physician
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information on treatment plans
- Ensure that exam rooms and medical equipment are clean and sanitized
Requirements:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent training
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Work Environment:
- Work in a healthcare facility, often interacting directly with patients and physicians
- Physically moderate tasks, including standing for long periods and assisting patients
- Regular exposure to medical equipment and patient care tasks
