We are hiring a Memory Care Caregiver to provide specialized care to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. You will support patients with their daily needs, offering compassion and structure while helping them maintain a high quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assist memory care patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Engage patients in cognitive and physical activities designed to enhance memory and mobility
• Ensure patient safety by preventing wandering or accidents, and maintaining a secure environment
• Help with feeding, medication reminders, and managing behavioral changes
• Offer emotional support and companionship, creating a comforting and structured daily routine
• Work closely with families and healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
• Document daily care activities and report any changes in patient behavior or health

Requirements:

• Previous experience in memory care, elder care, or healthcare preferred
• Knowledge of dementia care techniques and patient safety practices
• Compassionate, patient, and able to work in a high-emotion environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to assist with physically demanding tasks, including helping with mobility

Work Environment:

• Work in memory care units or patients’ homes, providing one-on-one care
• Physically moderate tasks involving personal care and patient mobility assistance
• Frequent interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
