We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Sales Training Specialist to join our team. The Sales Training Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs designed to enhance the skills and performance of our sales team. Responsibilities

  • Assess the training needs of the sales team and develop targeted training programs to address skill gaps and improve performance.
  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars focused on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship management.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure training aligns with company goals and sales strategies.
  • Create and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning content.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to sales team members, helping them to apply training concepts in their daily activities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new training methodologies to enhance training programs continually.
  • Organize and facilitate role-playing exercises and simulations to reinforce learning and build confidence in sales techniques.
  • Track and report on training progress and outcomes to management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Training Specialist, Sales Trainer, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, practices, and processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to design engaging training programs and materials.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for training sessions and workshops.
