We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Project Management Officer (PMO) to oversee and facilitate project planning, execution, and monitoring across the organization. The PMO will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure consistent and effective project delivery
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with organizational goals
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and issues, and facilitating solutions to keep projects on track
- Provide guidance and support to project managers in resource allocation, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and reviews, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members
- Analyze project data to generate insights and recommendations for improving project performance and outcomes
- Assist in the development of training and professional development programs for project managers and teams
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing feedback mechanisms and lessons learned practices
- Serve as a liaison between project teams and senior management, providing updates on project status and outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Experience in budgeting and financial management related to project execution
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
