We are looking for a highly skilled Lead QA Engineer to oversee our quality assurance team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing testing strategies, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement in our testing processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in QA methodologies, automation, and a strong understanding of software development life cycles.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the quality assurance team in defining and implementing testing strategies and best practices to enhance product quality
• Design and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated testing frameworks that align with project requirements
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing processes within the software development life cycle, ensuring that quality is built into the product from the outset
• Oversee the execution of functional, regression, performance, and load testing to validate software functionality and performance
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues
• Mentor and coach QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team
• Drive the adoption of automation testing tools and techniques, ensuring maximum test coverage and efficiency
• Conduct regular reviews of testing processes and outcomes, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on QA processes and practices
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing status updates on testing activities and quality metrics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing and team leadership
• Proficiency in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestComplete) and programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Extensive knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading a team and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) is a plus
