Job Description

The Internal Recruiter is responsible for managing the recruitment process for open positions within the organization. This role focuses on sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates to fill various roles while ensuring a positive candidate experience. The Internal Recruiter collaborates closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and aligns recruitment strategies with the organization’s goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create accurate job descriptions that reflect position requirements and company culture
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates, utilizing job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals
  • Screen resumes and applications, conduct interviews, and assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring timely communication and feedback to candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate tracking of candidates and recruitment metrics
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates, providing them with insights into the organization and its values
  • Collaborate with HR to enhance employer branding initiatives and improve the overall candidate experience
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously refine sourcing and selection processes
  • Participate in job fairs and recruitment events to promote the organization and attract top talent
  • Assist with onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in an internal corporate setting
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates and hiring managers
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • A commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the hiring process
