Job Description

The Manager of Sales is responsible for leading and overseeing the sales team to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. This role involves developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and fostering strong relationships with customers while ensuring team performance and productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance and accountability.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Manage key customer accounts and build long-term relationships to enhance customer loyalty.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
  • Identify training needs and facilitate training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales management or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with occasional travel for client visits and industry events.
