We are looking for dedicated Gravediggers to assist in the preparation of gravesites for burials. This role is essential for ensuring that services can be conducted respectfully and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Excavate gravesites according to established guidelines and specifications
• Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained and operated safely
• Collaborate with funeral directors and families to coordinate burial logistics
• Fill in gravesites after services and restore the area to a respectful condition
• Assist in maintaining the overall appearance of the cemetery grounds

Requirements:

• Previous experience in manual labor or construction preferred
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors
• Attention to detail and respect for the sensitivities of the role

Work Environment:

• Outdoor work environment with physical demands
• May require evening and weekend work based on burial schedules
