The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to attract, screen, and secure top talent for the company. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and deliver exceptional candidates for open positions. Your ability to build relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders is critical to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates
- Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals
- Screen and shortlist applicants based on qualifications, experience, and cultural fit
- Coordinate interviews and communicate regularly with candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely feedback and maintaining clear communication
- Conduct background checks, reference checks, and any other necessary pre-employment verifications
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future job openings
- Track and report on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire
- Stay current with industry trends, recruitment best practices, and employment laws
- Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, interviewing techniques, and candidate evaluation
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus
