Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Car Salesman to join our dynamic sales team. The Car Salesman will be responsible for selling vehicles to customers, providing exceptional customer service, and building lasting relationships with clients. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide them with a welcoming and informative experience while exploring vehicle options.
  • Understand customer needs and preferences through effective questioning and active listening.
  • Present and demonstrate vehicles, highlighting features, benefits, and financing options to customers.
  • Negotiate sales prices and financing terms, ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting dealership sales goals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current inventory, automotive trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Follow up with potential customers to nurture leads and encourage sales.
  • Prepare sales contracts and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly sales targets and participate in dealership promotions.
  • Attend training sessions and stay informed about product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry developments.
  • Provide exceptional after-sales service, addressing any customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in automotive sales or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close sales effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using sales software and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer needs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or automotive knowledge is a plus.
