Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for supporting the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and customer account management. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and issuance of invoices to clients in a timely manner.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, transactions, and communications.
  • Support the collections process by contacting customers regarding overdue payments and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist in reconciling customer accounts and addressing any billing issues or inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of accounts receivable data.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable.
  • Provide support during audits and assist in the preparation of necessary documentation.
  • Participate in special projects or other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or finance is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
