The Gardener plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the beauty of outdoor spaces, including residential gardens, parks, and community landscapes. • Monitor plant health and diagnose issues related to pests, diseases, and environmental factors
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order
• Create and maintain irrigation systems to ensure adequate water supply for plants
• Collaborate with property owners or managers to discuss landscaping ideas and preferences
• Keep accurate records of garden maintenance activities, including planting schedules and care routines
• Educate clients or the community about proper plant care and gardening techniques
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storage of tools and equipment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in horticulture or landscape design is a plus
• Previous experience as a gardener or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of plant species, soil types, and horticultural practices
• Ability to operate gardening equipment and tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset for designing garden layouts
