Job Description

The Restaurant HR Manager plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment while ensuring that the restaurant attracts, retains, and develops talented employees. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding of new staff
  • Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, focusing on customer service and operational efficiency
  • Address employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to resolve conflicts and maintain a harmonious workplace
  • Monitor and analyze employee performance, conducting regular evaluations and providing feedback to improve overall team effectiveness
  • Collaborate with management to create and maintain a positive work culture, promoting teamwork and employee morale
  • Oversee benefits administration, payroll processing, and compliance with employment-related legislation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR metrics, providing regular reports to management on workforce performance and trends
  • Develop and facilitate employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs and team-building activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations relevant to the food service sector
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
