Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and organized Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our property portfolio. The Property Manager will be responsible for maintaining property values, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maximizing occupancy rates. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple properties effectively. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of residential and/or commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and comply with regulations.
  • Manage tenant relations, including lease negotiations, renewals, and addressing tenant concerns or complaints.
  • Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, including scheduling contractors and ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and manage property budgets, including tracking income and expenses, and providing regular financial reports.
  • Market vacant properties, screen prospective tenants, and handle leasing activities to maintain high occupancy rates.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws and building codes.
  • Collect rent, manage delinquent accounts, and initiate legal proceedings for evictions when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of property operations, leases, and tenant information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role in property management.
  • Strong knowledge of property management practices, leasing processes, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members.
  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple properties.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for property visits.
