Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Install structures such as windows, doors, framing, and cabinetry.
• Inspect and repair damaged wooden structures and fixtures.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople (electricians, plumbers) during construction projects.
• Ensure work is completed to high-quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship or vocational training in carpentry is preferred.
• Proven experience as a carpenter or in a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
