  • Collaborate with other artisans, designers, or clients to fulfill specific design requirements or artistic visions.
  • Monitor and control the cooling process of glass to avoid cracking or breaking.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; formal training or apprenticeship in glassblowing or a related field is preferred.

  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to manipulate hot glass.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Creativity and an artistic eye for design, with the ability to visualize and create unique glass pieces.
  • Physical stamina and strength to work in a hot environment and handle heavy tools and materials.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and styles.

Work Environment:
Glassblowers typically work in studios or workshops equipped with furnaces, tools, and safety equipment. The environment can be extremely hot and may contain some hazardous materials, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols.
