A Banner Maker is responsible for designing, producing, and installing custom banners for events, businesses, and advertising purposes. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients or internal teams to understand banner requirements and specifications.
  • Design banner layouts using software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW.
  • Select suitable materials for the banners, such as vinyl, fabric, or mesh, depending on the project needs.
  • Operate large-format printers and other production equipment to print and finish banners.
  • Ensure quality control, checking for color accuracy, image resolution, and material integrity.
  • Install banners at client locations or events as required, ensuring proper placement and visibility.
  • Maintain and repair equipment used for banner production and finishing.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends and printing technologies to improve efficiency and creativity.

Requirements:

  • Experience in graphic design and familiarity with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDRAW, etc.).
  • Knowledge of large-format printing and materials used in banner production.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet client deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of color theory, typography, and branding concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Physical ability to install banners, which may involve climbing ladders and lifting heavy materials.

Work Environment:
Banner Makers typically work in print shops, advertising agencies, or specialized production facilities. They may spend a portion of their time on-site, installing banners at events or client locations. The job can involve standing for long periods, using heavy equipment, and working with various materials. Some travel may be required for banner installations.
