Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our production team. The Production Assistant will support various aspects of film, television, or video production, ensuring that the production runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Assist the production team with daily tasks, including preparing sets, organizing equipment, and managing production schedules.
  • Help with the setup and breakdown of equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound gear.
  • Provide general support on set during filming, ensuring that the needs of the crew are met.
  • Handle paperwork and documentation, including call sheets, release forms, and production reports.
  • Coordinate with various departments, including art, camera, and sound, to facilitate smooth communication and workflow.
  • Run errands as needed, including transporting equipment, supplies, and crew members to locations.
  • Monitor the set for any issues and report them to the production manager or line producer.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
  • Assist with crowd control and talent management during shoots, ensuring a safe and productive environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Film, Television, Media Production, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a Production Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interest in film or television production, with a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of production equipment and software is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as production schedules require.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to take on various tasks as needed.
