Responsibilities

  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and user experience, including the use of keywords, meta tags, and proper formatting.
  • Analyze website performance metrics using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for content improvement.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the organization’s branding, voice, and messaging strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital publishing and web development.
  • Coordinate with IT and development teams to troubleshoot website issues and implement updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Web Editor, Content Editor, or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of online content.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track and analyze website performance.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
