Job Description

The Festival Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing festival events, ensuring that all logistics are in place. This role involves working closely with vendors, sponsors, artists, and the event staff to ensure the smooth running of the festival, from setup to breakdown.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the logistics of the festival, including vendor setup, stage management, and crowd control.
  • Communicate with vendors, sponsors, artists, and performers to confirm schedules and event details.
  • Oversee the event setup, ensuring all equipment, stages, and booths are properly installed.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, including social media promotions and ticket sales.
  • Handle any issues that arise during the festival, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to, including crowd control and emergency procedures.
  • Manage a team of volunteers and event staff, delegating tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience in event planning or festival coordination.
