Job Summary:
The Transcriptionist will be responsible for converting audio recordings into written documents. The ideal candidate will have a keen ear for detail and the ability to transcribe with high accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
– Transcribe audio recordings into high-quality written documents.
– Ensure the confidentiality of all information.
– Review and edit transcribed reports or dictated material for spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency, and proper medical/legal terminology.
– Utilize transcription equipment and software effectively.
– Meet specific deadlines and turnaround times as agreed upon with clients.
– Communicate with the team for any clarification or questions regarding the assignments.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a transcriptionist or a similar role.
– Excellent listening skills and a high proficiency in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
– Fast typing skills and experience with transcription software.
– Familiarity with industry-specific terminology, be it legal, medical, or technical.
– Strong attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
